Everyday Is Better Than The Next

It seems like every day there is a new web based application that takes the place of a desktop application.  In my opinion Google is leading the pack in the web based application race.  They now have email, documents, a calender, spreadsheets, and a photo organizer all available on the web.  It used to be that you had to buy an entire application suite for a large amount of money to cover all these things, and not it’s all completely free.

However, today I came across the final death blow to desktop applications. http://worldofsolitaire.com/. Yes that’s right, now your solitaire program is available on a web page.  No more will you find yourself firing up a program to play solitaire, now all you need to do is fire up your browser.
