I think I’m pretty much done with Google Adsense. I’m not making nearly as much money as I would like to. It just seems like putting ads in your readers face all the time all over your website just isn’t worth 30 cents a click.
I signed on with PPP (PayPerPost.com) a few weeks ago, and I’m doing much better. There I can make 4-10 dollars per post. I also think that getting paid per post is less intrusive. I can pick what oppurtunities I want to take, and I can write the post however I want. Most of the oppurtunites I take from PPP are things that I would probably post about anyway.
Now, the problem is that some people have some strong opinions about people who “whore themselves out to the man” for money. That’s not at all what I’m going for here. I like running this blog/site, however it’s not free. It costs money to run a website, and if someone is willing to pay me a small amount so that I can continue to do what I like, then I don’t see a problem with that.
You make the Call:
Pay Per Post - make money
Adsense - make nothing

Its fine to blog for money, just please don’t try and fool anybody. If someone pays you to write something, then you should disclose that fact write in the body of the post. That way no one can ever say they were fooled by you and any trust you have developed with your readers remains.
