Last night I found myself reminiscing about my days on the playground in first and second grade. I remember one time we were playing kickball and it was my team’s day to start out up to bat (or whatever you call it in kickball) because the other team was up to bat the day before. Well someone called opposite day which meant that everything was now the opposite and so we weren’t up to bat at all. Opposite day was a common thing back then. We ended up taking it to higher and higher levels, like when someone called opposite day you had to start walking backwards or turn your shirt backwards. It’s funny looking back, but I thought what if you could call opposite day now?
Let’s say for example (and I hope I’m not jinxing myself here) my boss calls me into his office and says “We are restructuring and we are going to need to let you go. You’re fired.” and then I say “Bitch, it’s opposite day. You’re fired. WHAT?”
Oh my that is funny. Wouldn’t life be a lot better if we could act like we were 7 years old all the time?

like if you go to the bank to cash a check and they tell you no. You could just start crying and screaming .. that would be badass
