I was sitting through some really really boring training today. During this training I thought “I should probably kill myself”. So I sat around for about an 20 minutes thinking of creative and clever ways of ending my life. This is the best I could come up with.
I call it (drum roll please…) “Internet Assisted Suicide” It’s where I hook up the trigger of a gun to some kind of device that is hooked to a button on some web page. Then I go stand in front of the gun and wait for somebody to press the button. I also had the idea of having a web cam and all that fancy jazz, but that’s really beside the point.
After I came up with this idea, and convinced myself that I am not crazy, and that I wasn’t really going to do that, I started thinking about the morality of this. Could the person who clicked the button be charged with murder if they knew that clicking it would kill me?
I then thought it would be funny to set up a fake page with a video of a guy standing in front of a gun and if you clicked the button it would shoot him, but not really.
